Screen 8000 II CTP
 

Hello,

I have a Dainippon Screen 8000 II thermal CTP with a F-PIF interface.
I have a RIP, but I can't bind it to the PIF Interface.
Can you tell me a program that sends TIFF's to the Screen 8000?

My RIP is named StudioRIP.
It can produce 1 bit TIFF files.
But I can't send the TIFFs to the Screen... That's why I need a Tiff catcher or another software like that...
Also what do I have to do to gain access to this FTP server?

I have found a TIFFDownload program but it's in chinese and I can't understand it... Is there a version in English? Also where can I found the drivers for it?

but why don`t you ask help of your local supplier?I guess they may also give you a solution~~

I have asked my local supplier but I have still haven't got any answer... and I think maybe they will ask me a big price for it... That's why I am looking here for a solution...

I think you question is which you need the interface between CTP with PIF card .
You must find the output software that can communicate with CTP equipment,however,the driver of PIF card is needed.

I've got access to the FTP server but I cannot download anything because I don't have any credit...

There`s much rare resources in our FTP zone,and which can`t buy by money,only through forum coins.So your poor account can`t afford this.

Firstly， you have had RIP software,such as Brainnew、Founder、Printnect、Prinergy、Tureflow、Apogee.
Secondly,you have had the driver of PIF card.But you also should have another driver of the CTP equipment ,which will be setuped to software that can communicate with the CTP equipment.
