Peoplesoft Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
Job Description Ensures conformance to internal and external quality standards and assists customers, sales, suppliers and the division with establishing achievable quality standards. Communicates customer expectations to staff, manufacturing and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities


Establishes clear lines of communication between the customer, suppliers and the division. Develops procedures and techniques for reducing process variation and manufacturing delays. Evaluates process output and supplied materials for compliance. Future responsibilities to include
• Manipulative product quality analysis including materials such as plastic, metal, wood.
• Working with suppliers and testing service to conduct Materials testing and product safety performance evaluation that will include submission of requests, scheduling of testing, monitoring of progress, evaluation of report and coordination with AMS group.
• Conducting factory certification visits in association with GM China Supply Chain.
• Performing factory visits or coordinating with service provider to conduct manufacturing and product inspections

Qualifications


Must be a self-motivated individual able to work with minimal direct supervision having 3-5 years experience in the manufacturing aspects of printing, corrugate and structural assembly. A strong knowledge of off set and flexo printing and color theory is required. Experience in effective oral and written communications. This position demands the ability to work with diverse personality types and have a willingness to travel. Project Management experience. Desire to learn new manufacturing processes, procedures and products.
