065-221 (DADF-150) CIS AGC Fail (DC Models)
Bsd-on: CH5.8
AGC (Automatic Gain Control) of CIS processing is not completed/resolved. Or, the white level does not reach the specified value.
Procedure
1. Enter Diag Mode and check the value of DC131 NVM[716-579] and [716-589]. Based on the displayed values, proceed with the following steps. When there is no failure, "0" is displayed.
When [716-579] is 1 or [716-589] is 1.
2. Turn OFF the power. Disconnect and reconnect the 1P Dup PWB cable J740/ J745 and tighten the screws securely.
3. If it is "NG" at 2, reconnect the FPC between the CIS J1 and the CIS DC/DC Convert PWB J746 properly.
4. If it is "NG" at 3, pull out the IIT Carriage and reconnect the FPC between the 1P Dup PWB J7421 and the IIT/IPS PWB J7401 properly.
Take note of the top and bottom of the FPC.
5. If it is "NG" at 4, enter the Diag Mode. If any of the values in NVM[716-540~547] is not within 20~45, change the values to "31" and turn the power OFF and ON.
6. If the problem persists, replace the following components in sequence:
(1) CIS (PL 52.2 )
(2) CIS DC/DC Convert PWB (PL 52.3 )
(3) 1P Dup PWB (PL 1.16 )
(4) IIT/IPS-1P Dup PWB Cable (PL 1.16), DC/DC Convert PWB-1P Dup PWB Cable (PL 52.1), CIS-CIS DC/DC Convert PWB Cable (PL 52.3)
(5) IIT/IPS PWB (PL 1.16)
When [716-579] is 2 or the [716-589] is 2.
2. Turn OFF the power. Disconnect and reconnect the 1P Dup PWB cable J740/ J745 and tighten the screws securely.
3. If it is "NG" at 2, enter the Diag Mode. If any of the values in NVM[716-540~547] is not within 20~45, change the values to "31" and turn the power OFF and ON.
4. When it is "NG" at 3, record down the values of NVM[716-523~528] and replace the CIS. (PL 52.2)
5. If any of the values in NVM[716-540~547] is not within 20~45, change the value of NVM[716-600] to "0" and turn the power OFF and ON.
6. If the value in NVM[716-579] is "2", check the connections of the IIT/IPS-1P Dup PWB Cable (PL 1.16), DC/DC Convert PWB-1P Dup PWB Cable (PL 52.1), and CIS-CIS DC/DC Convert PWB Cable (PL 52.3).
7. If the value in NVM[716-579] is other than "2", record down the values of NVM[716-523~528] and replace the CIS. (PL 52.2)
8. If the problem persists, replace the 1P Dup PWB (PL 52.1), followed by the IIT /IPS PWB (PL 1.16).
