免酒精润版液 - use other chemical to replace IPA (alcohol).
There many offer in the market, most of them using "glycol" to replace it. Just need to use around 20% to the substitute then which can get the similar result of the effect of alcohol in fountain solution.
One of the reason why this is so popular in western country, cost of the treatment of IPA is very high. In order to reduce the production, they need something to replace it.
In fact some of the IPA substitute cannot replace the alcohol in total. Printer may still need to use small amount of alcohol but the content may be just 2 to 4% instead of 10 to 12%.
Want to use this kind of substitute, is not just replace it and get the good result instantly. This need time to calibrate the content, pH value, etc.
The pH value, conductivity, working temp. is not as the same as the alcohol. Some of this substitute would working well at around pH3.5, much lower than alcohol at ph4.5 to pH5.5.
