BIRMINGHAM, UK, May 12—Kodak’s K-Zone, which debuted at Print 09 with great success, will be a main highlight of Kodak’s stand 09-E320 at Ipex 2010. The K-Zone is a live talk-show set where dynamic unscripted discussions with industry experts, print service providers and marketing professionals take place daily throughout the Ipex show. The sessions will provide key insights and information that commercial printers, publishers, package printers, and data printers can use to help their businesses increase profitability and open doors to new opportunities.
“The K-Zone is redefining the tradeshow experience for our customers, creating a forum for people to address the impact of the many innovations affecting our industry,” said Chris Payne, Director and Vice President, Business to Business Marketing, Kodak. “Each panel session is designed to reflect current industry trends and focus on the success of real organizations and real people who use our technology to fuel creativity throughout their business.”
The K-Zone kicks off at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 18, with a keynote panel titled “Change Inspires Innovation,” featuring Antonio M. Perez, Kodak Chairman and CEO; Giovanni Antonuzzo, Rotomail CEO; Giorgio Albertini, Rotomail General Manager; and Tom Fenske, Fenske Media CEO. The panel will discuss the impact of digital marketing on the industry and how KODAK Stream Inkjet Technology is shaking things up with a wide variety of innovative applications.
Following the keynote panel on Tuesday, May 18, at 12 p.m. is “Once Upon a Time: The Story Behind the Invention of Stream.” Attendees will learn from Kodak Chief Technical Officer, Terry Taber, how the idea for Stream Inkjet Technology came about and the fundamental concepts behind this revolutionary printing system.
Special K-Zone sessions at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18, and Thursday, May 20, will introduce Frank Romano’s new book, “The Future of Print in the 21st Century.” Print plays an important role in society and reflects the habits and needs of consumers, but new print technologies are transforming the way we interact with print. In this segment, Romano will talk about these changes and share insights from his new book. A book signing will follow and all attendees will receive a complimentary autographed copy.
In addition, a revealing panel discussion called “What We Think – The Analyst Viewpoint” will take place Wednesday, May 19, at 2 p.m. Well-known industry experts will talk about the worldwide economic situation and how the printing industry is evolving as a result.
On Thursday, May 20, at 5 p.m. the K-Zone will also feature the presentation of the Lifetime Print Ambassador Award to The Rt. Hon. the Lord Heseltine CH, Chairman, Haymarket Group Limited.
