This file describes the additions and bug fixes in ORIS Color Tuner//Web Version 2.0.6.
Licensing
Version 2.0.6 is license-protected and requires the input of a new code for your dongle. A new code for Version 2.0.6 is not required if you are already using Version 2.0.
Operating System
Installing ORIS Color Tuner//Web requires Windows XP SP3 or higher.
System Recommendations
We recommend the following computer equipment for optimum performance and high throughput:

Support for Roland VersaCAMM VS-i Printers

ORIS Color Tuner//Web 2.0.6 additionally supports the following Roland DG inkjet printers/cutters:
Roland VersaCAMM VS-640i
Roland VersaCAMM VS-540i
Roland VersaCAMM VS-300i
Supported printing methods:
Continuous tone if printers are equipped with ECO-SOL MAX2 ink
Continuous tone, ScreenDot and ScreenDot Plus if eco-solvent XG INKS are used
Colors: 8
Cyan, magenta, yellow, black, light cyan, light magenta, white, metallic silver (ECO-SOL MAX2 ink)
Cyan, magenta, yellow, black, orange, green, white, metallic silver (eco-solvent XG INKS)
Maximum resolution: 1440 dpi
Maximum media width:
64 inch (163 cm) for VS-640i
54 inch (137 cm) for VS-540i
30 inch (76 cm) for VS-300i
Installing the Printer Driver

There are no Windows printer drivers available for Roland printers. Do the following to create a generic TCP/IP printer:
Select the following command on the Windows Start menu:
Devices and Printers (Windows 7)
Control Panel | Hardware and Sound | Printers (Windows Vista)
Printers and Faxes (Windows XP)
Click Add a printer.
Select Local printer.
Create a new Standard TCP/IP Port.
Enter the printer’s IP address.
Leave the standard device type set at Generic Network Card.
Select the printer manufacturer Generic and the printer Generic/Text Only.
Enter the printer name:
If MAX2 ink is used:
Roland VS-640i or
Roland VS-540i or
Roland VS-300i
If XG INKS are used:
Roland VS-640i XGINKS or
Roland VS-540i XGINKS or
Roland VS-300i XGINKS
Make sure to use exactly this spelling. The program uses the Windows printer name to identify the ink set installed in the printer.
New Color Modes for Roland SOLJET PRO4 XR-640

The following color modes are now additionally available for Roland SOLJET PRO4 XR-640 printers used with the printing method Continuous tone:
CMYK
CMYK + White
CMYK + Metallic silver
CMYK + White + Metallic silver
CMYK + White + Metallic silver (Multi pass)
CMYKOrGr (XG INKS) + White
CMYKOrGr (XG INKS) + Metallic silver
CMYKOrGr (XG INKS) + White + Metallic silver
Localization

The Japanese language files have been updated.
2. Bug Fixes

RGB Proofing

RGB images and documents with images defined in the RGB color space are now interpreted and color-matched correctly even if scatter proofing is enabled.
Align Points (Roland Printers)

Applying align points caused the printed image to be stretched horizontally under certain conditions.
Bleed Pages

Color separation names defined on a bleed page are now printed completely as expected.
ORIS Certified//Web

Delta E values for single-patch measurements are calculated correctly now.
