I want to start participating actively in other forums, and, as so, it doesn't make much sense (and would be against CPC rules) continuing as a senior here.

I appreciate the "consolation prize", boss, but i'm not blackmailing my way up... i want to go back to regular and i mean it.

I really thought that the quality of my participation made any difference, but it doesn't, in the end i realized that at CPC it's the quantity that matters, and you all know i'm not going to post garbage to get up until 2000 posts or whatever the number is.

I will start again at packme.cn, and I want to be a VIP there one of these days!
I had been invited to join some months ago, but i decided not to accept it at the time because i had my own plans at CPC.
Now my plans at CPC don't make much sense.

Plus, i'm a little tired of being disappointed here, specially by CPC moderators. There's the highly reputated moderator that sells patches at taobao, there's the honorary moderator that asks for software and patches for himself and then distributes them among others... you name it, mate.

Give me some time to get to know my way around packme and you know i won't disappoint the moderators and bosses in there. Maybe they won't disappoint me too.

I believe that every member will see your outstanding contribution, everyone will thank you. I also believe that CPC is the best forum protection you pay, whether it is English or non-English forums, which is 10 years of experience.
VIP membership required for 2000 posts, which is a rule many year...

just to finish my argument boss, 2 questions for you:

- besides zhangguojun, how many of the CPC VIP's have 2000 posts?
- from ALL of the CPC VIP's how many have 20 essence points?

i filled in the most difficult of all 8 conditions (20 essence points), 2000 posts even a monkey can do, but you have to have class posting to achieve 20 essence points in my opinion.

and at the end of the day i'd rather have the guy with 20 essence points than the guy with 2000 posts, but that's just me.

NOW DOWNGRADE ME, PLEASE!

CPC的VIP会员多数是给论坛提供过物质帮助比如服务器、宽带资源，或早期管理员而设置，真正通过帖子认证的VIP很少，大约只有1个，即xghd。对于VIP而言，精华帖子的数量不是唯一判定目标。
zhangguojun不应该是VIP，而应该是荣誉版主，属于早期设置错误，我已经修改了。
管理团队经过商量，认为你乐于共享，积极参与讨论，帖子质量高，精华帖子多，维护游戏规则，同时因为是外国人，中文能力有限，参与讨论的范围有限，所以建议降低帖子标准，特殊情况特殊对待，目前可以将你转成VIP会员。

i'm not going to be an exception to the rule. not here, not anywhere.
i know you're a noble and fair man, but, rules are rules! and they're equal to everyone, even to the guy who's only ability is to collect essence points.

as a wise(ass) good friend of mine told me yesterday "if you become an exception, there will always be someone on the opposite side of the pond demanding the same treatment".

I think you should close up the VIP applications for once, if it's an honorary distinction you should distribute it as you do with the medals, only to those who really deserve it.

otherwise, you risk to have to take him as a VIP, sooner or later I would estimate some 6 or 7 more months for it to happen
