I purchased a batch of CTcP plates from a Chinese provider and now there are certain complaints about thickness from my customers regarding 0.30mm and 0.25mm plates. The supplier sent a picture and claimed that this is international standard for thickness tolerance.

Is this true, or is it something they made up?

It's true that the plate thickness we actually have used for many years is 0.27mm, but the label is 0.3mm.
The tolerance exists objectively, but I don't agree that the so-called international standard tolerances are all below the standard.
The tolerance should be agreed between you and the supplier.
